Argentinian producer Jay West is the latest addition to the amazing roster of talent at Large Music.  We caught up with him prior to his debut release, Stay Together ep, to bombard him with questions and demand some answers!:

1. Can you tell us about where you grew up and some of your early musical influences ?

Well, my folks were always more interested in international music so I would say I grew up mostly listening to stuff like Prince, MJ, Peter Gabriel, Bee Gees, Steely Dan, Phil Collins, etc...I started playing guitar when I was really young. I got more into funk and disco later on in my highschool years and formed a band and started writing songs and lyrics for it.

For the last several years SCOPE (Ric McClelland) has been a mainstay artist on Large and has helped build the "new" Large sound.  We sit down with him and ask him 7 questions and get some terrific answers:

1. Ric, 2011 seems to have been a very busy year for you. Can you tell us a few highlights professionally?

Highlights definitely have to be working on and finishing my debut album and then setting up my label Seven Music.
